| Q What is Magnetic Measurement system? | ||||||
![]() |
The
evaluation of magnetized, demagnetized, or magnetism-reduced products
greatly affects the quality. The characteristics of magnets themselves
should be considered carefully at the design stage, and the characteristics
of the products containing the magnets must also be evaluated in terms
of the influence of leakage magnetism on the ambient environment. Magnetic
instrumentation and measurement are becoming increasingly important in
the production of products containing magnets. |

| Q What is a Gauss Meter? | ||||||

This
is the starting point of magnetic instrumentation using the Hall effect.
The GM Series was the pioneering production success in Japan and marked
the start of electromagnetic products. The GM Series offers a wide range
of products for various measurement applications, as a variety of sensors
can be combined flexibly. GM calculates and displays the flux density
of an element per unit area as an average value. Depending on the sensor
size, the value differs even when the same point is measured. However,
this is not an error but attributable to dependency on the sensor size
(measuring sensitivity area). Choose an appropriate model from the GM
Series ranging from the handheld type to the desktop type and from an
ultra-low magnetic field to 4T |

| Q What is a Flux Meter? (FM Series) | ||||||
![]() |
A flux meter is used in combination with a search coil to measure and evaluate the flux of a magnetized magnet. A multi-pole magnetized flux is measured with high precision. This device has various functions, such as an N/S peak value measuring function, a comparator output function for lines, a communication function for exporting data to a PC, and connectors for external control. The meter works as follows: a voltage is induced by the search coil in proportion to the flux, is stored in a capacitor, is processed in an integrating circuit, and then is displayed. The latest model features a V/F conversion circuit (converting voltage fluctuations into frequencies) to eliminate drift for higher performance. | |||||
